Accepting the terms
Before you can set up payments, Shuttle's terms and conditions need to be accepted. This is a one-off step — once accepted, you go straight to your integrations every time after that.
Where to find it
This screen appears automatically when you open payment setup, if your platform requires Shuttle's terms to be accepted here and they haven't been accepted yet. You can't skip past it.
Many platforms instead incorporate Shuttle's terms into their own terms and conditions, so their merchants accept them up front. When a platform has done that — configured through its gateway setup settings in the Shuttle developer portal — this screen is skipped entirely and you go straight to your integrations, because acceptance is already covered by the platform's own terms.
What you see
- A short description of the terms.
- A link to the full terms and conditions, when one is provided.
What you can do
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Agree | Accepts the terms for your account and takes you on to your integrations (or to add your first provider if you have none yet). |
Things to note
- While the acceptance is being saved, the button shows Activating….
- If you don't have permission to manage payment setup, the button is disabled — ask an administrator to accept the terms.
- If something goes wrong saving, you'll see an error message asking you to contact Shuttle.
