GMO Payment Gateway (GMO-PG) is Japan's largest payment service provider, acting as
the gateway between merchants and the country's banks, card schemes, and local
payment methods. It is purpose-built for the Japanese market, supporting domestic
essentials such as JCB cards and bank direct debit alongside the major
international card networks. For merchants selling in Japan, it provides
locally-trusted payment acceptance that international processors often don't cover.
Shuttle connects to GMO Payment Gateway using API credentials issued from your
GMO-PG account.

Payment methods

Through our GMO Payment Gateway integration, merchants can accept:

• Cards: Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express, and Diners Club
• Bank debits: Japanese bank direct debit (account transfer)

Direct debit is set up through a hosted GMO flow before it can be charged.
