Merchant Setup

Merchant Setup is the screen your merchants use to connect a payment processor. They accept the terms, add one or more processors, choose which payment methods the checkout offers and in which currencies, and come back later to change or reconnect one.

It exists so you do not have to build provider onboarding yourself, and so credentials never pass through your systems. The merchant's processor login goes straight to the processor.

What you control

Which processors a merchant can choose, and whether they can reach this screen at all, are yours to decide. A merchant you onboard centrally may never see it. See the Merchant Setup component for what the component does, and the integration guide for embedding it.

One page per screen, in the order a merchant meets them. Each says what the screen is for, what is on it, what the merchant can do, and what to watch for. Where a control changes something, it links to the rule behind it in Business Rules.
