Global Payments

Global Payments is a global merchant acquirer and payment processor that handles card authorization, settlement, and back-office services for businesses ranging from small merchants to large enterprises. It operates in over 150 countries and is one of the larger acquirers worldwide, with particular strength across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region. For merchants, it provides direct acquiring — funds are settled by Global Payments rather than routed through a third party. Shuttle connects to Global Payments using API credentials supplied by Global Payments.

Merchants can onboard Global Payments in the following countries:

Australia, Austria, Bermuda, Brazil, Canada, China, Czechia, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Macao, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, New Zealand, Philippines, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, United Kingdom, United States.

Payment methods

Through our Global Payments integration, merchants can accept:

• Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, and JCB
• Bank debits: SEPA (EU)

SEPA is enabled per gateway in the Global Payments connection settings, and must also be enabled on your Global Payments account. Card transactions support 3D Secure (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express) and card tokenisation for saved payment methods, both of which are enabled per gateway and on your Global Payments account.
