Authorize.Net

Authorize.Net

Authorize.Net is a long-established payment gateway, now part of Visa, that lets merchants accept card and electronic-check payments online and over the phone. It is one of the most widely used gateways in North America and is a common choice for merchants who already hold a merchant account and want a dependable way to connect it to a checkout. Authorize.Net handles the gateway layer — authorising and settling transactions — while the underlying merchant account is held with an acquiring bank. Shuttle can connect to Authorize.Net two ways — over OAuth (log in to Authorize.Net and authorise the connection) or with API keys (enter your API Login ID and Transaction Key directly), for when OAuth login isn't available.
