Sandbox Accounts

Shuttle provides a LIVE and SANDBOX environment. You can create accounts in either environment, this is configured during account creation and cannot be changed.

For example, in Payment Links, during signup you will be asked "I want a sandbox account for testing".

Live

The live environment is the production environment and is used for real transactions.

Sandbox

The sandbox environment is a test environment and is used for testing. In sandbox, Shuttle will connect to each payment processor's "Sandbox" environment, so that no money is moved. That said you should never use real cards in sandbox.

Sandbox accounts MAY generate emails (eg receipt emails), so please take card when using them.
