Transbank

Transbank is Chile's dominant card acquirer and payment processor, handling card
acceptance for the large majority of Chilean merchants. It operates the widely
recognised Webpay online gateway and the OneClick saved-card service, and
connects merchants to Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, and Chile's
domestic RedCompra debit network. For any platform selling into Chile, Transbank is
the default route to local card acceptance. Shuttle connects to Transbank using the
commerce codes and API keys issued by Transbank, entered in the gateway settings.

Payment methods

Through our Transbank integration, merchants can accept:

• Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Diners Club
• Chilean networks: RedCompra (domestic debit) and Magna

These are accepted through two Transbank products, which are enabled independently
in the gateway settings:

• Webpay — a hosted payment page where the customer is redirected to Transbank
  to complete the payment. Available as Webpay Normal (single store) or Webpay Mall
  (multi-store).
• OneClick — saved-card payments. After a one-time enrolment with Transbank, the
  customer can be charged again without re-entering their card details, which
  supports recurring and one-click checkout.

Payments can be taken in Chilean Pesos (CLP) and US Dollars (USD). Amounts priced in
Unidades de Fomento (CLF) are converted to the account currency at the prevailing
rate before settlement.

Our Transbank integration does not support Apple Pay or Google Pay.
