Connecting Affirm

Connecting to Affirm uses API keys. If you have not had the values supplied to you, you will need an Affirm login with Admin access.

To set up Affirm you will need:

  • Your Merchant Name
  • Your Public API Key
  • Your Private API Key

If you don't have these, follow the steps below.

  1. Log in to Affirm at affirm.com/user/signin.

  2. Select API Keys, and make sure you choose the Live API Keys.

  3. Enter the values in the Affirm connection dialog. Use your legal company name for Merchant Name — this is customer facing.

  4. The connection is tested and you are shown a green "Connected to Affirm" message.
