Square
Square is a payment service provider best known for combining card processing with point-of-sale hardware, used widely by small and mid-sized merchants for both in-person and online payments. It lets merchants accept all major card networks through a single account, with optional ACH bank debits and in-person acceptance via Square terminals. Square is strongest in the United States but also operates across several other markets. The connection to Square uses OAuth, so merchants can authorise the connection by logging in to Square without handling API credentials directly.
