It offers local acquiring in more than 50 countries and processing in over 150 currencies, with particular strength across Europe, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region. Merchants typically use Checkout.com for cross-border and multi-currency acceptance backed by direct acquiring. The connection to Checkout.com uses API credentials supplied from the merchant’s Checkout.com account.

Payment methods

Through our Checkout.com integration, merchants can accept:

• Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, and Diners Club
• Network tokens: cards can be paid and saved as card network tokens, which is what Apple Pay and Google Pay use
• Bank debits: ACH (US) and SEPA (EU)

ACH and SEPA are each enabled per connection in the Checkout.com connection settings; ACH payments are taken in USD and SEPA payments in EUR.
