Merchant Portal: Introduction
The Shuttle Merchant Portal is where you manage your payments: connect your payment provider, see every payment, refund and customer, create payment links, and manage your team. Merchants use it with Shuttle’s own products, such as Payment Links, the Twilio Pay connector and the QuickBooks app, and with accounts their software platform has connected to it.
Log in to the Merchant Portal, or sign up from the same page.
Organisations, accounts and users
Section titled “Organisations, accounts and users”Three words come up throughout these guides:
- Organisation: your business. Your team, your Shuttle plan and your billing belong to the organisation.
- Account: an account with its own payment provider, branding and payment activity. An organisation can have several, for example a sandbox account for testing and a live account. The Merchant Portal lists them under My Instances.
- User: your login. One login can belong to several organisations, with a role in each.
The menu
Section titled “The menu”The menu has two levels: the organisation, and the account you’re working in.

Section titled “Organisation menu”Open the menu under your account name to see:
- My Instances: the organisation’s accounts. Accounts that belong to an application built with Shuttle, such as your software platform’s, are listed separately under Connected Instances. Admins add an account here with New Instance.
- Finance Marketplace: other financial services for your business.
- Team: who can use the organisation, and their roles. See Team management.
- Edit Organisation: the organisation’s name and website, security settings, plan and billing. See Billing.
- My Organisations: switch to another organisation, or create one with Add Organisation. See Multi-tenancy.
Under your name, Edit changes your own details, such as your email address, phone number and multi-factor login, and Sign out logs you out.
