Strings

Strings are the customer-facing wording Shuttle shows on the hosted checkout, in receipts and in the messages the API returns. The Strings API reads that wording and replaces it per language: the same changes the Localisation editor in Merchant View makes.

• Each string has a fixed id of the form <set>.<key>, e.g. web.payment_form.card_number. Get the ids from List strings.
• language is a lowercase two-letter ISO 639-1 code (e.g. ar), or default for the base wording. It defaults to default, so always send it when writing a translation.
• branding is an enterprise field for accounts with more than one branding. Leave it out to use your own branding.
