Voids
A void cancels an authorisation, releasing the funds still reserved on the customer’s payment method. Once voided, nothing more can be captured from it.
When to void and when to refund
- Void an authorisation (
AUTH) to release what is still reserved on it. If part of it has already been captured, the void releases the rest. - Refund a
PAYMENTorCAPTUREto return money that has been collected.
Amount
Voiding takes no amount: call the endpoint with the payment ID. The void is for the authorised amount less anything already captured. Partial voids are not supported.
