# Connecting LiqPay

> Connecting to LiqPay uses API credentials issued from your LiqPay account. You will need your:

Connecting to LiqPay uses API credentials issued from your LiqPay account. You will
need your:

- **Public Key**
- **Private Key**

Both keys are found in your LiqPay merchant account, under the API settings for your
company. Enter them in the connection dialog, then select **Save**.

When you save, the connection is tested against LiqPay. If the keys are valid, the
gateway is connected and ready to take payments.
