# Connecting Checkout.com

> Connecting to Checkout.com uses API credentials from your Checkout.com account.

Connecting to Checkout.com uses API credentials from your Checkout.com account.

## Setup

1. Enter your Checkout.com credentials:
   - **Public Key**
   - **Secret Key**
   - **Processing Channel ID**
   - **Merchant Name**
2. Select **Save**. The integration checks the credentials with Checkout.com and, if they
   are valid, sets up a workflow on your Checkout.com account that sends payment and
   dispute updates to the integration.

:::note[Sandbox accounts]
If the connection fails with a message that the full API is not enabled on your
sandbox account, contact Checkout.com at integration@checkout.com to have it
enabled.
