# Connecting CardConnect

> Connecting to CardConnect uses your CardConnect API credentials. To set up the connection, you will need your:

Connecting to CardConnect uses your CardConnect API credentials. To set up the
connection, you will need your:

- Merchant ID
- Site URL
- API Username
- API Password

You can get these by logging into your **CardConnect Merchant Portal**.

Copy and paste those values into the setup boxes and select **Save**.

## Connection options

Our integration with CardConnect offers several options:

- **Require CVC:** Select this if you have made CVC a mandatory field on your
  CardConnect account.
- **Enable ACH:** Enables ACH as a payment method. When enabled, you can also
  choose to **require the account name** for ACH payments.
- **Require address (AVS):** Requires the customer to enter their billing address.
