Affirm is a buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) provider that lets shoppers split a purchase
into scheduled instalments at checkout, with the financing decision and repayment
handled entirely by Affirm. It is one of the largest BNPL providers in North
America, and is most commonly used for higher-value purchases where customers
benefit from spreading the cost over time. Offering Affirm can lift conversion and
average order value while the merchant is paid up front and Affirm carries the
repayment risk. The connection to Affirm uses API credentials.
