Shuttle Payment Links allows you to create and manage payment links that can be shared with your customers to collect payment. Payment links provide a secure, flexible way to accept payments without building your own checkout experience.

## Types of payment links

Shuttle offers two types of payment links to suit different business needs:

### Multi-use payment links

Designed for low or no code, these are reusable payment links that can be paid many times with the same configuration. You set them up in the Merchant Portal under **Configure** > **Payment Links**. They're ideal when you need a permanent payment link that can be paid many times by the same or different people, for example a static link on your website, in an invoice template or on a printed QR code.

They're also a quick way to start collecting payments from customers within minutes.

### Personalised payment links

These are payment links for one customer and one payment. Your staff can create them in the Merchant Portal: select **Payment Links** in the menu, then **Create a Payment Link**. You can also create them automatically, with Shuttle's API or with workflow automation tools such as Zapier and Make.com. See [Personalised links](/merchants/payment-links/single-use-links/).

## Multi-tenancy

Payment Links is designed from the ground up for multi-tenancy, so it can be used by a single merchant or in a multi-tenant environment.

Multi-tenant environments include:

* A software platform (for example SaaS) with many merchants, each taking payments through a different payment provider
* A solution provider, selling the same solution to many merchants
* A system integrator, with many clients using bespoke solutions that include payment links

If you run a software platform, see [Shuttle for Platforms](/platforms/getting-started/welcome/).
